| Everything with Dekker's birth was just the way we had wanted--we felt cared for and listened to--and the results were spectacular! Our friends and family couldn't believe that we had a 9 pound 7 ounce baby completely naturally. I was amazed at how good I felt after the birth and how quick my recovery time was--I was back on my feet and going up and down stairs in no time at all. For our older son's birth, my previous OB/GYN doctor thought that my pelvis was too small and told me that "some women can only deliver a 7 pound baby." I wish she could have seen Dekker being born! All the women in your office are amazing--the support staff and all the midwives have been a huge help throughout the pregnancy. Thank you for the wonderful gift of my health and well-being, as well as bringing our beautiful boy into the world! |
