 I graduated from the Frontier school of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, KY in 1995. My experience as a midwife includes birthing in both hospital and birth center settings. I have been part of the MCA family, formally the Maternity Center, since October 2005.

Prior to becoming a midwife, I worked 13 years in a variety of obstetrically-related roles including labor and delivery nurse/manager, obstetrical clinical instructor, prenatal clinic coordinator, childbirth educator and perinatal grief/loss counselor.

I have been blessed and privileged to be part of the lives of so many women and their families. I find each to be unique and special. The miracle of life never grows old for me and I love assisting women in whatever ways I can as they experience their own unique births.

I have 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and 2 grand-dogs, Cleopatra and Monkey. I live in Pennsylvania with my very tolerant and supportive husband. My hobbies includ cycling, crafting, jewelry making and gardening.
